Essencia Travel & Business Hotel in Second Life

Hello, my dear reader. It’s time for a new special destination – fortunately so easy to do it in Second Life, this fantastic world where creativity knows no bounds, where you happen to discover places you like so much that you just save LM knowing full well that you will come back from time to time to see them again. This is what happened when i first visited Alexandreia, a sim that completely fascinated me – and other places you will read about in my future articles. I don’t remember exactly when I first visited Essencia Hotel – but it was many years ago. The elegance and refinement of the details make this place one of the most select destinations in Second Life – and the story behind it… is an inspiration for all of us.

There’s something timeless and so romantic about creating a place out of love, and you will probably be surprised to find out that this is one of those places. The very first idea was based on a love story between two souls – and Ƙirα Ƴoichĩ was really kind to share it with me:

“The story began in 2014 when the founder, Sérgio Franchinni (ursinho.alcott) wanted to impress a woman he met in Second Life. His plan for a perfect date was to find a hotel to rent a suite with amenities. This story was told to me when I was curious about its origin. He told me none of the hotels back then were good for his plan, so he rented a small plot of land and began building a small hotel just for a while, until the date was over. The date went perfectly; he said she loved it and took many photos of the well-done furnishings he put together by shopping from various stores. Soon, her friends asked permission to use the room he still had open on the rented land for their dating plans. Not so long after, more people heard or saw his “tiny” hotel. They asked him to keep it, so he did and slowly added more and more details to it over time.” Ƙirα Ƴoichĩ, Essencia Travel & Business Hotel Manager

After learning the story of this place, I can say I like it even more. I’m an incurable romantic, I just can’t help myself!☺

Essencia Travel & Business Hotel was built in 2014 and at the begining the project was focused on the idea of having a 100% self-service. With her arrival, Kira brought a new vision Sergio completly shared and so several changes took place. They started to focuse on live roleplay service, thus bringing an experience as real as possible in many areas. From the moment you land here, every step, every detail is so well thought out that it takes you back to one of your favorite RL vacations – except that here you can experience all of this every day, whenever it’s convenient for you, with anyone you want from any corner of the real world. 

Ƙirα Ƴoichĩ (kirayoichi) is now the 2nd Owner at Essencia Hotel, but she worked a lot for this. While she was looking for a job in Second Life, Kira was introduced to Sérgio Franchinni (The founder of Essencia Hotel) who had at that time a 1/4 of a sim size, small but well-detailed. She got her 1st job then, being hired as “Waitress”. Step by step, she learned more and more about the duties and how roleplay works in Second Life, and soon she became passionate about roleplaying the dining experience. Later, she was promoted to higher titles and now she is proud to be the 2nd manager of Essencia Hotel. She manages all the tasks when Sergio is not there due to RL, and she is also the point of contact when Sergio cannot reply back.

Over the years, many events have been organized here: wedding receptions, public events of live singers, spa roleplay service and dining. They collected many wonderful memories: “The best ones are for New Year parties we used to host. RL has intervened more recently, and although they no longer have the necessary time to get involved in events like before, Kira and Sergio have found a solution so the place continue to be kept alive and active: “We welcome the request to rent out areas of the hotel for personal events, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, family reunions etc. I personally see two of these events go smoothly for people who wish to have their parties here. They sometimes request assistance with celebration decorations.”

Essencia Hotels & Resorts, with over 2 years of experience in the hospitality market, has 2 units at destinations in Second Life. Take your time to explore the place and everything has to offer – it`s a trully nice destination in Second Life you should see at least once.
