Goblins Knob – a drop of magic in Second Life world
Our adventure through the enchanting realms of Second Life unfolds further as we explore even more extraordinary destinations. I recently visited Goblins Knob, a homestead region where time seems to stand still, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in its beauty and charm conceived by Tolia and brought to life by Dandy Warhlol (Terry Fotherington). Goblins Knob draws inspiration from the historic charm of 1666 Pudding Lane in London, before the great fire. Picture this: as dawn approaches, you experience a serene stillness and a gentle mist that gently cradles the world around you. Nature, dressed in shades of gray, whispers quietly, weaving a mystical atmosphere. As first light breaks, Spiderwick makes his…

SIMURG – Embracing Seasonal Renewal in Second Life
Do you remember the beautifully illustrated landscapes in warm, vintage hues that we used to send to our loved ones while on vacation? Or the charming and elegant posters from the late 19th and early 20th centuries that modern designs often aspire to reproduce? That’s what I thought about when me and my love first visited this land. A place of well-being and tranquility, certainly an ideal destination for one of your Christmas evenings, whether you want some time alone with yourself, a quiet evening with your partner away from the hustle and bustle, or a relaxing afternoon with friends. As you already know from my previous articles, when I…

Another must-visit destination for Christmas 2024 in Second Life is K-City România – an entire sim dressed in festive lights where you can find almost all the attractions of your childhood, like the magic carousel or the big wheel that gives you the thrill of heights. Here you can visit Santa`s workshop – a bustling hub of holiday activity, you can take the Christmas Express on a dream journey in its luxurious wagons, or you can dance with the jumping and cheerful penguins on the ice rink. Every corner of this park is designed to evoke the nostalgia and joy of the holiday season. You will find here Christmas markets…

A Christmas Royal Destination: Chateau Bellevue-Grimaldi
I love Christmas beyond words. For me, it has a special meaning, and every year I do my best to enjoy the simplest but perhaps the most meaningful things around me. If in our real world everything around us turns into a magic decor, houses smell of fir trees and ripe oranges – and people come together to enjoy all the good deeds, experiencing Christmas in Second Life is a feast for both: eyes and soul. This virtual world offers a multitude of unique locations that are effortless to explore: landscapes that seem torn from a heavenly dream, destinations where music and poetry take you to distant times, or festive…

Halloween 2024 in Second Life: A trip to Dracula Castle PART 2
The first evening of Halloween 2024 at Dracula Castle in Second Life exceeded all expectations! We gathered in “The Village of Vesnic” which hosts historical exhibitions related to the legends of Dracula and vampires, and from here we took the carriage crossing the mysterious road to Dracula’s Castle. The view was spectacular and the music added a real surround to the route. Dracula Castle in Second Life was inspired by the legendary Bran Castle located in Transylvania, Romania. The real castle of Transylvania is on the list of the ten most beautiful medieval castles in the world compiled by CNN, along with four other fortifications from Great Britain, two from France…
