Hello, dear reader. My name is Moga, i am from România and a resident of Second Life since February, 2014. I’ve never been a gamer – and before Second Life the only games I sometimes played were Trivia, Rummy and Chess. As for many of us, my first SL day was more out of curiosity. A friend – we have been DJ at the same radio station – was already in Second Life for some time and she was telling me about the very different experience she was having here, doing the same thing as before. About the interaction that in Second Life was not limited to dedications sent by text, but a real one, where you could see the avatars dressed in different styles, dancing as a couple or alone. Being Dj here provides way much more than working in radio stations. So it could be said that music was what brought me to Second Life – and music is also what made me stay.
10 Second Life`s years – a fantastic experience of exploring, learning and interacting with residents from all over the world. You see, for me this was never a game, but a virtual space where to connect with real people, to fulfill part of my dreams, and where i met my love and best friend, Cris, who supports and encourages me in everything i am doing.
Music has always been a significant part of my life; my parents had a special respect for quality music, so I learned from childhood about singers from all over the world and times. At age 17, i started my adventure in FM Radio and 3 years latter i joined the online environment as DJ and cultural-musical programs producer. When i joined SL, i knew from the beginning that whatever I will do here, music will always come first. And so it was. My first years in Second Life were an interesting and rich experience as Dj in many venues and clubs. I met extraordinary people and gathered memories that are very dear to me. In 2018 I felt that it was time for me to move on to something that would challenge me even more; i really like to decorated, so i started to learn how to create themed and special events.
In 2020, April 25 i founded Royal Orchestra. Together with people passionate about music, some of them even players in real life, we provide monthly performances, each time addressing a different theme.
The Voice Magazine came in 2020 as an extension of my second passion, being a journalist in RL. For 4 years we delivered to our readers editions based on real, rich content, with a professional design. It has been more than a magazine – The Voice has been a cultural bridge of connection between residents of Ville de Coeur – and their real passions and stories.
In 2022 i opened Hanu` Ancuței, România – the only Romanian Traditional Restaurant in Second Life located in the picturesque Coeur de Bourgogne, Ville de Coeur. I wanted to help people discover more about the culture and traditions of the country I was born – and to create a place where residents would feel welcomed with the hospitality that defines us, as a nation. We are very proud that Hanu` Ancuței was listed in Second Life Destinations Guide and to have Isabella Rumsford – a singer born in România – to represent us wonderfully through her life concerts.
One of the things i like the most about Second Life is the freedom granted to you once you became a resident. And Wagner James Au described it so well in his book “Instead of attempting to control the activities of those who enter it, the creators of Second Life turned them loose: users (also known as Residents) own the rights to the intellectual content they create in-world.” This is what can be called the basis of all creations and projects that make Second Life such an incredible world. Every resident has the freedom to freely express his own vision and to make their dreams come true.
All-Stars Universe project is the summation of everything I have learned and achieved so far – and a real challenge at the same time. But i‘m quite stubborn when I have a dream and I don’t give up, whatever the challenges would be. We want to involve residents of Second Life through different activities and thematic events, and we already started to work on what we hope to be a bigger project.

Second Life is the best online space to live your dream. We are so different in our own way, and that’s what’s really amazing because it brings so much diversity inworld. The dynamism of this world comes from – and depends on – our energy and willingness to engage, to create, to support.
For me, there is no competition here. Each of us has his own passion, his own talent, his simple pleasure of living Second Life in a certain way. It’s always nice to meet new people and learn about them and their passions. By Moga SL will share our Second Life`s adventures, things we genuinely love here and resident`s brilliant work and creations. I hope you will enjoy exploring and reading these stories.
